This observational study utilized cross-sectional data from a nationwide survey administered to adults aged 65 and older who were recruited through nine Osher Lifelong Learning Institutes (OLLI). Data collected included general demographics, and measures of physical and mental health, cognitive ability, meaning and purpose, cognitive reserve, and successful aging.
