Metabolomics combined with other omics enables insights in health and disease and can therefore be the basis for novel diagnostic approaches and the development of personalized interventions to prevent and treat diseases. You will develop innovative molecular profiling methods and novel analytical strategies that can comprise novel sample preparation methods, high throughput methods and/or novel mass spectrometric methods for molecular profiling. You will embed successful novel methods in (semi)automated metabolomics and multi-omics workflows to apply them to a range of clinical and biomedical studies.
