Women in Science: US and China Perspectives Date/time: Wednesday, September 25, 2024 5:30 – 6:30 pm 9月25日，周三下午, 5:30至6:30  Please join us at the Beijing American Center to hear Dr. Tai-Yin Huang present her research on the state of women in science in China and compare this with her own experience as a woman in a predominantly male academic field.  During Dr. Huang’s time here in the PRC she has interviewed numerous female scientists with diverse backgrounds to better understand the challenges and opportunities women face.  Dr. Huang is a visiting scholar from the National Science Foundation (NSF) in the United States, where she is a program director for Data Infrastructure and Aeronomy Programs. Audience members will have the opportunity to engage with Dr. Huang during a short Q discussion following her presentation.
