The Embassy of the Republic of Malta in Beijing is seeking to recruit a junior visa and consular officer . This is a full-time 40 hour per week job from 9:00 to 17:30. However, the job holder will need to be flexible should support be required outside of these hours (time off in lieu would apply subject to approval). Duties and Responsibilities · Contribute to the proper administrative procedures of the Visa & Consular Section · Respond to enquiries and provide general information about the visa application process as well as procedures relative to other consular matters, including requests from the general public by phone, email or any other means of communication. · Receive and process visa applications; Preliminary screening of visa applications and checking submitted supporting documents; Checking that all documents required with visa applications and other consular processes are in order; Liaise with State/Private entities in the host and accredited countries to check docume ………………………………
