Information The International Workshop on Mathematical Issues in Information Sciences (MIIS) started in 2012. For ten years, it has become an international annual academic workshop in the field of data science with the effort of Academician Luo Zhiquan. Shenzhen Research Institute of Big Data has hosted the international workshop on MIIS since 2016. The symposium aims to bring together the outstanding scientists, researchers and engineers to exchange and share new ideas, theories, technologies and applications in the field of information science and big data, adhering to the philosophy of "mathematics-based, data-driven and application-oriented", and helping to promote the research and development of data science theories and industrial applications.
