Guangzhou's iconic Liuhua Lake Park is undergoing a major renovation project. The park, known for its lush landscapes and tranquil environment, will later offer new looks and attractions. (Photo: Yuexiu Fabu) Since 2009, Liuhua Lake Park has lent 12 plots of land, totaling around 60,000 square meters, to facilitate various municipal projects. This has resulted in the disruption of park pathways and the removal of parking facilities. Currently, the Guangzhou Municipal Forestry and Landscaping Bureau is now working with metro and utility projects to restore and upgrade the park comprehensively. One of the highlights of the restoration is the transformation of the park's iconic "White Castle" into an international cultural and art exchange center.
