SIAC held its annual flagship event, the SIAC Symposium, on Monday, 26 August 2024, at the Shangri-La Hotel Tower Ballroom. The SIAC Symposium kicked off the Singapore Convention Week bringing together more than 400 legal practitioners, general counsel and other influential thought leaders from the international arbitration community. Minister Indranee Rajah, SC, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, Second Minister for Finance and National Development, delivered an insightful keynote address, and also participated in an engaging fireside chat which was moderated by Professor Stavros Brekoulakis. Justice Andre Maniam, Judge of the High Court of Singapore, also delivered his opening remarks and participated in the first of four plenary panels together with other eminent speakers.
