Starting from June 15th, China Railway Guangzhou Group is implementing a new train operation timetable in order to adjust to the operation speed of the Beijing-Guangzhou high-speed trains and increase the number of high-speed trains to and from Hong Kong West Kowloon Station. This move aims to further boost the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. (Photo: Lu Li) After the adjustment, the trains on the Beijing-Guangzhou high-speed railway can achieve a higher-standard operation at 350 km/h, and the overall transportation capacity will increase by 4.2 percent. The fastest travel time from Beijing West Railway Station to Guangzhou South Railway Station will be 7 hours 16 minutes, and that from Wuhan Railway Station to Guangzhou South Railway Station will be 3 hours 17 minutes.
