Background On January 17, at about 4 pm, Beacham was jogging in Jiangxi Qianjing Waterfront Park when he suddenly saw an old woman whose body was half-emersed in the waters, panicked and shouted for help. Without thinking too much, Beacham rushed and grabbed the old woman's arm, preventing her from drowning, while other passersby called the police and emergency hotlines for help.
