Corporate Behavior and New Development of Financial Markets under Technological Change and Innovation Changing institutional environment and technological progress post risk, but yet they provide opportunities to firms. In a global context, firms face the challenge of anti-globalisation and changing international and national institutional environments. Firms need to engage in innovation, and leverage the fast changing science and technology to remain competitive in the marketplace. Thus, I am pleased that this special issue devotes its attention to the institutional background, technological progress, corporate behaviour, and capital market development in a global perspective.
