A friend of the customer posted the receipt, dated Sunday at 3.35 pm, to social media on Monday afternoon, local time. They allege their friend did not give their name to the server, who named her on the receipt as ‘ching chang.’ Background The customer, who is from Taiwan, China, said she was shocked when she saw the server had written a slur used against Asian people on her receipt. Not wanting to be named, she turned to social media and local tour guide Roxie Fu, who on Monday told reporters "The staff in Fergburger did not ask for the girl’s name, relying on calling out the number on the receipt to let her know the order was ready".
