The projects are likely to be carried out over 30 months and involve the “development of offshore facilities for the transportation and storage of CO2 of the East Coast Cluster in the UK,” Saipem said in a statement on Thursday. “The first project has been awarded by the NEP’s entity called Net Zero North Sea Storage, an incorporated joint venture between the operator BP, Equinor and TotalEnergies,” the Italian contractor said.
