China has made a significant breakthrough in copper exploration on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau over the past four years, with the discovery of more than 20 million metric tons of copper ore deposits. The China Geological Survey, an institution of the Ministry of Natural Resources, said on Monday that the fresh discovery will greatly enhance the security of the nation's copper resources.
