Guangzhou to see temperature drop and more rain in coming week

Influenced by Typhoon Gaemi, Guangzhou is expected to experience high temperatures and heavy rain in the next three days. From July 25 to July 26, Guangzhou will still be hot, with a maximum temperature reaching 37 degrees Celsius. However, starting from July 27, rainstorms will lash many parts of the city, which will ease the heat.  Typhoon Gaemi, the third typhoon of this year, made landfall in eastern Taiwan's Yilan County at around midnight on Thursday, leaving two dead and 201 injured, according to local authorities. Other regions in Guangdong will also be affected, especially the eastern coastal areas, Meizhou, and Heyuan.
