未来海洋讲坛 Carbon Cycling in the East Sea (Japan Sea): A Review 2024年8月27日 15:00 蔻享学术 扫码查看精彩直播 // 嘉宾简介 Jeomshik Hwang Prof. Jeomshik Hwang graduated from Seoul National University in 1993 and earned his Ph.D. at the University of California, lrvine in 2004 focusing on the oceanic carbon cycle. He did postdoctoral research at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution and taught at Boston University for a year before coming back to Korea to join POSTECH in 2008. Later he moved to the current institution and is currently a tenured professor at the School of Earth and Environmental Sciences. His research focuses on understanding organic carbon cycling and biological pump systems in the ocean using carbon isotopes, lipid biomarkers, and biogeochemical tracers.
