With a star-studded cast, the world-touring West End production of And Then There Were None will be staged at the Guangzhou Opera House from July 10 to July 14. And Then There Were None, published in 1939 by Agatha Christie, the renowned Queen of Crime, stands as one of the world's best-selling mystery novels. The play's adaptation faithfully retains the original plot, in which ten strangers are invited to a small, isolated island off the coast of Devon, and, one by one, they are killed in mystery. This world-hit production is directed by Lucy Bailey, who is also the director of the West End's long-running Agatha Christie thriller, Witness for the Prosecution. Mike Britton, as the designer of the play's costumes and set, employs a simple stage set to concentrate the audience's attention on the characters' every word and deed.
