A Seattle youth therapist successfully fled to China after being arrested on child pornography charges, highlighting a concerning lapse in law enforcement coordination at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. Yuexiang "Bruce" Ling, 26, who worked as a family and children's therapist at Valley Cities Behavioral Health Care, was initially arrested after police discovered numerous child pornography images on his computer. These files were found alongside his job application materials for Seattle Children's Hospital. After posting bail, which required as little as $7,500 out-of-pocket, Ling was ordered to surrender his identification documents, including his Chinese passport. However, he managed to obtain a new passport illegally and attempted to leave the country.
