Liquid fuel combustion Spray combustion will continue to be utilized in a wide range of energy conversion and propulsion devices, including automobile engines, aircraft engines, rocket engines, and satellite thrusters. In a net-zero-carbon world, green liquid fuels and blends may introduce additional challenges such as flash boiling of liquid ammonia or other blends. This Special Issue aims to showcase the latest research and development of liquid fuel combustion. The topics of interest span the entire chain of processes including primary atomization, evaporation, flash boiling, liquid-liquid reaction, formation of pollutants, and additional topics related to liquid combustion systems.
