An undated internal memo, US media outlets recently obtained from the State Department, urges countries to shun Chinese satellite services, citing security concerns. Without providing any evidence to substantiate its claim, the document, which is ostensibly to provide talking points for senior US officials meeting with the representatives of other governments, warns that Beijing could use the satellite services it provides to gather military information and sensitive intelligence.
