Who May Apply: All Interested Applicants /All Sources Summary: The U.S. Mission in Shanghai is seeking an eligible and qualified applicant for the position of Voucher Examiner ( Temporary Position, Not to Exceed 5.5 Months ). The Voucher Examiner serves as a Value Added Tax (VAT) Coordinator for Consulate General Shanghai and a Liaison between Consulate Shanghai and Embassy Beijing, and as voucher examiner for simple to moderately difficult and complex vouchers for the consulate. The Voucher Examiner is responsible for preparing, examining, and processing of all Value Added Tax reimbursement claims (both official and personal) to ensure their accuracy, legality and administrative compliance with applicable Chinese government regulations . ………………………………
