Biomedical applications of low-dimensional materials Submission deadline: 31 March 2025 As a major subfield of biomedical materials, low-dimensional materials-enabling biomedical applications alludes to the implementation of advanced translational research relative to tissue engineering, nanotechnology, cell biology and molecular biology to engineer and treat human cells, tissues or organs. The promising field evolves from different scientific fields (chemistry, biology, material science, pharmacology and clinical translation) and greatly focuses on applications towards re-establishing the structure and function of pathological microenvironments, damaged tissues and disease lesions.
