ImmunoPharmacology The immune system plays a fundamental role in protecting a host against infection or injury and maintaining homeostatic function. The specificity and efficacy of these immune interactions with their respective ligands provides the mechanistic basis of immune function. Several disease conditions occur as a result of immune dysfunction. As a result, the fields of immunology and pharmacology have joined forces, coined 'immunopharmacology', to develop novel and/or re-purpose existing drugs to target immune pathways associated with these conditions to improve patient outcomes. At the same time, targeting immune cells has become key for cancer therapy. This special issue seeks to invite researchers in this field of immunopharmacology to contribute reviews, original research, and perspectives in this area. These can include but are not limited to, the following aspects: (i) state-of-the-art on novel mediators which modulate immune function and/or promote resolution/repa
