Marine Construction Materials and Technologies With the development of the economy and further exploration of ocean resources, increasing attention has been paid to marine infrastructure. For marine construction materials, high specific strength and excellent corrosion resistance are desirable for the long service life of marine structures under complex loading and environmental conditions. Additionally, utilizing of local materials can be a convenient and economical approach for modern construction in marine and coastal regions, and the carbonation of marine concrete materials can be an effective way for carbon capture and storage. Unique advanced construction technologies are also required for the novel structure forms under marine environments.
