He was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Department of Physics, Stanford University from 2011-2015, and a Theoretical Research Associate at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory from 2015-2016. He joined Fudan Physics in 2016, and was appointed as Xide Junior Chair Professor since 2023. His research area is theoretical hard condensed matter physics, focused on the theory of quantum electronic phenomena in condensed matter systems.
