Various simulation techniques have been developed to guide or complement experimental study such as first-principles calculation, molecular dynamics simulation, and computational fluid dynamics.Recently, multiscale simulations brought about numerous breakthroughs in thermal science such as prediction of high thermal conductivity of boron arsenide and quantification of four-phonon scattering.
