How is your summer holiday in Guangdong? To bring more fun to residents and tourists this season, the Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangdong Province plans to issue a total of eight million RMB worth of subsidized coupons to the public in several rounds. (Photo: Nanfang Daily) The subsidized vouchers will be valid for paying for tour routes in Guangdong and China at participating provincial travel agencies, tourist attractions, tourist resorts, and art performance venues. They can also be used to book accommodations, buy tickets for provincial scenic spots, and artistic performances, as well as cultural and tourist products such as travel equipment. These coupons will take the form of full-value discount offers, divided into five grades, with the following denominations: 200 off of 999 RMB, 100 off of 499 RMB, 40 off of 199 RMB, 20 off of 99 RMB, and 10 off of 49 RMB.
