On the early morning of June 27th, China Southern Airlines' first direct flight from Guangzhou to Budapest, the capital of Hungary, took off from Baiyun International Airport, marking the opening of the first direct air route between the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and Hungary. This year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Hungary. Hungary is located at the geographical center of Europe, has a rich cultural heritage, and was the first European country to join the "Belt and Road" initiative. In recent years, trade relations between the two countries have developed rapidly, with pragmatic cooperation yielding fruitful results. China has become Hungary's largest trading partner outside Europe and its most important cooperative partner in the investment field.
