The "Cocoon of Traditions: Silk in the National Cultures of the Eurasia" exhibition, jointly created by the Nanshan Museum and the Russian Ethnographic Museum, officially kicked off on August 2nd in Shenzhen. This exhibition selects 283 pieces of silk treasures from the Russian Ethnographic Museum. These exhibits focus on the ethnic groups of Eurasia from the 19th to the early 20th century and include silk products from China, Central Asia, Iran, the Caucasus, Eastern Europe, and other regions. Audiences can admire exquisite Chinese silk robes, finely crafted Central Asian fabric samples, colorful Iranian silk carpets, and unique ethnic-style Southeast Caucasian headscarves, which demonstrate the diversity and profound heritage of silk culture. On the morning of the opening ceremony, Guschian Lucine Stephanie, the curator of the exhibition, came to the scene and gave a wonderful lecture to the audience. This exhibition will last until November 10th. Photos丨 Nanshan Museum Editor丨
