The Central Meteorological Observatory issued a Typhoon Orange Alert at 6:00 AM on July 26th. Typhoon "Gaemi," the third of the year, weakened from a severe typhoon to a severe tropical storm at 9:00 PM yesterday (25th). By 5:00 AM today (26th), its center was located over Yongtai County, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, with maximum winds of 10 scales (28 meters per second) and a minimum central pressure of 977 hectopascals.
